David Letterman walks out on Joan Rivers interview

The shoe's on the other foot for Joan Rivers.

On Tuesday, the comedian, 81, got a taste of her own medicine when David Letterman walked out on their interview.

The two began to talk about Rivers' recent CNN exit. She told Letterman the anchor, Fredricka Whitfield, whom she couldn't name, was "judgmental," "nasty" and "opinionated."

"It was just like my wedding night," Rivers joked.

Things took a turn for the worse when she began complaining about losing work — especially the Depends endorsement she can't seem to let go.

"Hi I'm June Allyson and while I'm talking to you I'm taking a dump," Rivers mimicked.

Letterman walked off his own set after that comment. Rivers, being a good sport, continued the interview without him.
