An unaltered photo of super model Cindy Crawford is sweeping the internet.
The leaked photo from a December 2013 cover shoot for Marie Claire Mexico and Latin America shows the now 48-year-old beauty wearing a black cowboy hat, fur coat and matching black bra and bottoms.
"An un-retouched photo of Cindy Crawford has been circulating on Twitter this morning, revealing a body that defies expectations—it's real, it is honest, and it is gorgeous," read a statement from Marie Claire posted to its website.
"No matter where the photo came from, it's an enlightenment—we've always known Crawford was beautiful, but seeing her like this only makes us love her more," continued the statement.
And although Crawford, a mother of two, has yet to speak out about the image, her husband, Rande Gerber, Instagrammed a stunning photo of his wife on Saturday.
"She got flowers and I got her," read the caption to the bikini-clad poolside photo. "Happy Valentine's Day @CindyCrawford."
Crawford talked about never being happy with her body image in a December 2007 interview with ContactMusic.com.
"I'm actually happier with my body now than I was back then because the body I have is the body I've worked for," she said. "When I was 23 other women could look at me and say, 'Well, she's never had kids.' But now I have and I know what it's like to have to lose baby weight. It is a huge change for your body."
She also admits she doesn't wake up super model gorgeous. "I have fat days, ugly days, blimp days, days that I just feel terrible about myself," she added. "I don't want to have to be beautiful all the time."
A request for comment from Crawford's rep was not immediately returned.
