The Eagles won the big game, but the ugly reputation of Philly fans took another hit.
During the Eagles' 27-0 rout of the Giants, a 57-year-old man needing a motorized scooter to get around claimed his prosthetic leg was stolen by a woman in an Eagles jersey Sunday night at 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Citizens Bank Park, the Phillies' home.
The man, Sonny Forriest Jr., a Vietnam veteran and musician who performs outside Phillies and Eagles games, filed a police report at Lincoln Financial Field.
"She jumped in my lap," Forriest told WCAU-TV of the woman, who was in her 20's and apparently drunk.
"She gripped my leg and I didn't even know it. I looked down and she took my leg! Then she disappeared! A young lady came up, snatched my leg off my chair and took off!"
His leg was found at Fern Rock Transportation Center in Olney at 1 a.m., according to a report by NBC 10 in Philadelphia.
Investigators said they planned to eyeball station surveillance video to identify a suspect. It appeared that three women took part in the cruel theft, police said.
Forriest said he doesn't want the leg thief to face jail time, but hopes she learns that her actions were hurtful.
On top of the alleged prosthetic leg incident, Philly radio host Mike Missanelli of ESPN 950 took a jab at Giants fans and Victor Cruz after the star receiver suffered a torn patellar tendon in his right knee.
The self-described "#Outright leader in Philadelphia Sports Talk," Missanelli tweeted after the ugly injury: "Hey Giants fans: Victor Cruz is over. Dance to that."
Missanelli quickly deleted the tweet and later apologized.
