Conservative filmmaker and author Dinesh D'Souza plans to turn his probation sentence for illegal campaign contributions into reality TV.

D'Souza — who directed the controversial documentary "2016: Obama's America" — told Breitbart News on Tuesday that he will be documenting and broadcasting his court-ordered community service for all the world to see.

D'Souza was sentenced in Manhattan federal court on Sept. 23 to five years' probation, including eight months in a halfway house, for illegally shelling out $20,000 in contributions in the name of others for Republican Wendy Long's failed 2012 US Senate bid to defeat incumbent Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY).

The Indian immigrant is required to spend one eight-hour workday a week performing community service during his probation. He plans to work it off teaching English as a Second Language classes to non-English speakers.

He claims he was targeted by the federal government for his harsh criticisms of President Obama.
