We love Outlander. We love how feisty Claire is, how dreamy Jamie is, and how tensely dramatic the show has been. We've also loved watching how the sexual tension between Claire and Jamie has only intensified week to week.
Usually, we try to gif the 3 hottest moments (and the three least sexy moments) from the night's episode. However, today is going to be a little bit different. In today's recap we are celebrating the 10 most GIFinitive moments from Jamie and Claire's wedding. Well, really, most of the moments are from the couples' wedding night. You guys, Jamie and Claire finally boned! They are now man and wife. It's just them against the world (and the redcoats)(and Captain Jack Randall)(and time travel)(and Dougal)(and the inevitably doomed Jacobean uprising)(and the fact that Claire is still technically married to a man in the 1940s…)
Anyway, here are the 10 most GIFinitive moments from last night's episode of Outlander:
Before we get into the wedding night stuff, I just want to talk about Claire's wedding dress. I was not prepared for it.
It's absolutely gorgeous. I feel kind of bad now for the fact that I couldn't wait for it to come off.
Speaking of clothes coming off…the kilt finally dropped.
The corset was finally unlaced.
The boob was finally touched.
Claire and Jamie finally had sex.
After a quickie, and some dinner, and lots more whisky, Claire asked Jamie to strip down for us.
For this, we thank her.
Then, they had extremely graphic sex. It was so intense, we couldn't make gifs of it. I mean, we tried, but the pixels exploded in on themselves.
Everything was great until the next morning. Claire remembered that she was totally married to a guy in 1945.
How is she going to explain this? Will she have to explain this? Should she explain this? Can she keep on boning Jamie like it ain't no thing?
Outlander's midseason finale is next Saturday, September 27th on Starz at 9PM EST.
