Six sightseers, including a 3-year-old boy, suffered minor injuries Sunday when they were hit by falling embers from an electrical blaze in an NBC camera mounted over the 70th-floor observation deck at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

The blaze broke out at about 7:45 p.m. and was extinguished by building security before the FDNY arrived, according to Battalion Chief Tom Meara.

The five adults refused medical attention, but the tot was taken to New York-Presbyterian's burn unit as a precaution, then released. The child was with his mother, dad and older sister, all of whom were visiting from Dubai.

The father, who spoke outside the hospital after walking out with his son, was incensed.

"They did not send someone with us to the hospital," he said. "We are here for only four days. We wanted to see the sights and now we spend hours in a hospital with no help.''

The deck reopens Monday.
