This feathered city slicker really gave cops the bird.
A mischievous red-tailed hawk pulled a fast one on New York's Finest on Sunday, eluding "arrest" as it swooped in and perched atop parked cars in Greenwich Village.
Cops showed up to the corner of West 12th Street and Fifth Avenue at about 5 p.m. and tried to put the kibosh on the hawk's fun.
But every time they tried to corral the bird, it would fly away.
The perplexed officers from the NYPD's Emergency Service Unit worked for about 90 minutes to capture the raptor — creating a spectacle that drew a crowd of onlookers.
By 6:30 p.m., the cops had had enough of the antics.
While the bird was perched on a the roof rack of a BMW SUV, an officer positioned himself to throw a tarp over it.
But when the cop made his move, the wily hawk decided to call it a day and flew off.
