Man struck & killed by Metro North train

A man was struck and killed by a train in East Harlem early Monday morning, authorities said.

The unidentified man was hit by a northbound Metro North train on the tracks near East 106th Street and Park Avenue at approximately 1 a.m., cops said.

He was rushed to Mt. Sinai Hospital where he was declared dead, authorities said.

Circumstances around the accident remain unclear.
