Bill Thompson is quitting the race for mayor.
Sources said the former comptroller will throw in the towel Monday morning at a "unity" press conference with Democratic rival Bill deBlasio and Gov. Cuomo — who has thus far stayed out of the contest.
The sources said Thompson is confident enough with the results he's seen so far in the re-canvass of voting machines to believe that de Blasio has cinched the nomination and has more than 40 percent of the vote needed to avoid a runoff.
