Cops hunt for pair who stole $170K watch from luxe Midtown shop

Two thieves stole a pricey watch from a luxury store in Midtown, authorities said today.

A woman distracted one of the employees at the Porsche Design Store on Madison Avenue, near 59th Street, about 4:30 p.m. yesterday, while her accomplice removed the timepiece from inside a showcase, cops said. The two then left the store.

A police source said the watch is worth over $170,000.

Both suspects were captured on surveillance camera.

The female thief wore a gray sweater and dark pants, while the man wore a white hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), or to visit the Crime Stoppers' Web site at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
