Cops on hunt for gunman who beat down victim in grocery store

Cops are searching for a gunman who was caught on tape shooting and viciously beating a man inside of a Bronx grocery store early Saturday morning.

The video shows a man in a red polo t-shirt and gray pants walking towards the 37-year-old victim inside the store on Webster Avenue in Morrisania at approximately 1:10: a.m. and firing his handgun several times at the man while calmly holding on to his canned beverage.

The brazen brute then proceeds to pistol whip the downed man four times, without spilling his drink, before fleeing the store with several others who step over the injured victim.

Police believe an argument inside the store set off the assault.

The man was taken to Lincoln Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to the body and is listed in critical condition, cops said.

The gunman is described to be in his 30's and has braided hair, cops added.
