A patient at New York Presbyterian Hospital was injured after bullets pierced through a room Friday and shards of glass went flying, police said.

The victim was in an eighth-floor hospital bed around 6:30 a.m. when suddenly the glass shattered at the hospital, at York Avenue and 70th Street, according to police.

It's not yet clear whether the shooter intentionally fired shots at the hospital window.

The patient was being treated for lacerations, cops said.
