Cops nab Bronx rape suspect in New Orleans

The sicko who allegedly raped a 7-year-old girl in the Bronx last month was busted as he tried to flee to New Orleans, cops said.

NYPD detectives and New Orleans Police arrested Virgilio Ocampo, 33, early Tuesday after he got off a bus in a New Orleans Terminal that originated from New York City, cops said.

Ocampo is suspected of raping and videotaping the girl in her mother's Soundview home in the Bronx on Dec. 19, cops said.

Police say he knew the child and her mother.

Ocampo was hit with a slew of charges including rape, predatory sex assault against a child and sexual abuse, cops said.
