Police say bags found on a Bronx street are believed to hold human body parts.
The discovery was made around 5 a.m. Tuesday in the Melrose neighborhood.
According to WABC a witness told police that someone in a vehicle had dropped a bag into a trash pile.
The NYPD said remains were found in more than one bag.
The contents are being analyzed.
