Rush Limbaugh has some strong views on the racist chat sung by University of Oklahoma's SAE fraternity.
The controversial radio and television personality says that if Kanye West rapped it, it'd be a hit.
"If this had been a song by Kim Kardashian's husband and they had sung this song at the Grammys … it'd be a hit," he declared. "But I'm telling you this stuff gets awards and the people who sing it are portrayed as American royalty in term of celebrity. You can't deny that."
But the public discussion over who is to blame continued over on MSNBC where "Morning Joe" anchors Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough voiced their opinions and placed the blame on rappers—especially Waka Flocka Flame, who canceled his concert at the university.
"[Waka Flocka Flame] should be disgusted with himself," Brzezinski came down.
"The kids look at every single song, I guess you call these, that he's written, it's a bunch of garbage," Scarborough added. "It's full of N-words, it's full of F-bombs. It's wrong. And he shouldn't be disgusted with them, he should be disgusted with himself."
According to E! News, Brzezinski later clarified her comments stating the students at hand should be held accountable for their comments. "The students in the video are responsible for their behavior," she said. "And as we said on our show this morning, they did it, and it's beyond appalling. In no way is anybody else to blame for what they did on that bus. They are responsible and they made that choice."
Since the release of the video, that SAE chapter has been shut down and two students have been expelled.
A request for comment from West's rep was not immediately returned.
