A Brooklyn woman threatened her Williamsburg neighbor with a jam spreader and then stabbed her in the cheek with a pen, police sources said.
The fight started at about 5 a.m. in a building on Gerry Street near Throop Avenue, when Carmen Marrero, 45, argued with her 56-year-old neighbor, law-enforcement sources said.
After threatening her with the knife, Marrero went back inside her fifth-floor pad — and returned a short time later wielding a ballpoint pen, police said.
Marrero allegedly pierced the woman's right cheek with it, the sources said.
The victim called 911 and Marrero was arrested, and the wounded woman went to the hospital.
Marrero faces felony charges of assault, menacing and harassment, the sources said.
It's not clear why the two were squabbling.
