Solange calls her ‘twin’ Blue Ivy ‘sassy pants’

Like much of the world, Solange Knowles adores Blue Ivy Carter.

On Wednesday, the 28-year-old newlywed expressed her love for Beyoncé and Jay Z's daughter, who turned three.

"My twin, my fellow sassy pants, my dancing partner, my incredibly smart, beautiful, niece-y-poo, turns 3 today! I love her so much," the "Losing You" singer captioned a photo on Instagram.

The snapshot shows Blue applying eye shadow to her aunt, who's soaking up the beauty treatment.

Mommy Beyoncé, who spent her holidays traveling the world, also shared a few photos from her daughter's birthday celebration. One is a black and white image of party decorations—a large number three balloon and ice sculpture with "Happy Birthday Blue" written into it.

She followed up with an aerial shot of Blue enjoying her rainbow cake.
