The city's largest police union wants public funding stripped from a legal-aid organization in The Bronx after two of its lawyers appeared in a rap video that encourages African-Americans to kill NYPD officers.

In addition to landing $41 million in city contracts in the past two years, the shameful Bronx Defenders group even netted $1.5 million in federal grants from a program named after slain Officer Eddie Byrne, PBA President Pat Lynch said.

"Not a single additional cent of [public] money should support the parties who played a role in this video," Lynch wrote in letters addressed Mayor de Blasio and US Attorney General Eric Holder.

"They do not only 'suggest violence,' but bluntly direct the viewer to murder a police officer."

The music video "Hands Up," which features rapper "Uncle Murda," was first released a few weeks before the assassination of two NYPD officers in Brooklyn on Dec. 20.

It depicts guns pointed at an NYPD officer's head, with lyrics such as, "For Mike Brown and Sean Bell, a cop got to get killed," and "It's time to start killing these coppers."

Two Bronx Defenders lawyers are allegedly featured in the video along with the logo of the organization.

"Taxpayers are funding an organization that has lent its name and resources to an effort that encourages the murder of police officers," Lynch wrote.

In the video, rappers Uncle Murda and Maino can be seen holding handguns to the head of an actor portraying a white NYPD cop, while there also is displayed footage of police brutality and images from the chokehold death of Eric Garner.

The video also shows a grieving mother walking into the Bronx Defenders office on 161st Street, where she is comforted by one of the lawyers, as the rappers spew lyrics like "My little homie told me he ready to ride — Ferguson was on his mind, he ready to fire."

In one segment, the video depicts NYPD cops making a car stop before gunning down an unarmed black man who has his hands up.

The end of the video features a banner ad for the Bronx Defenders complete with the organization's Web site address and Twitter handle.

The Bronx Defenders has told The Post that it did not know the final video would include images of cops with guns held to their heads and that it has asked for the video to be taken down.

The PBA said they are conducting an investigation to determine the nature and extent of the involvement of the Bronx Defenders and its employees in creating the video.
