Mayor de Blasio gets along just fine with cops — as long as he's in Paris.
Hizzoner shook hands with a gendarme Tuesday during a visit to the kosher market where an Islamic militant killed three shoppers and a store worker in this month's terror attacks in the City of Light.
De Blasio, who's been openly dissed by the NYPD's rank and file recently, employed the classic politician's double-hander while greeting the French officer outside the Hyper Cacher grocery store.
He also added a bouquet of flowers to a massive memorial across the street.
A white banner stretched across his floral display read: "FROM THE MAYOR OF NEW YORK TO THE MAYOR OF PARIS."
De Blasio later left similar bouquets at memorials near the office building of satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, where two terrorist brothers slaughtered staffers, and at the site where one killer blew away a Muslim cop.
The mayor's 10-hour tour included a closed-door meeting with French Mayor Anne Hidalgo and a news conference at which they exchanged symbolic gifts.
De Blasio gave Hidalgo a silk scarf bearing the words "New York" and a copy of the best-selling, multicultural portrait book "Humans of New York."
She gave him a miniature replica of the Eiffel Tower and a book of cartoons by slain Charlie Hebdo artist Jean Cabut.
Hidalgo called Paris and New York "sister cities" that share "the same values" and have both suffered through "this terrible type of attacks."
"Bill de Blasio was the first person who called just after the events, as soon as he heard about the news," she said.
"This was very moving for me."
De Blasio said "seeing the site of these tragedies" was a reminder that principles such as freedom of speech and religion "are always under threat."
At another news conference outside the Georges Leven Jewish school, which was placed under guard following the Jan. 9 Hyper Cacher attack, de Blasio noted "the cancer of anti-Semitism, which is still too present in Europe, and has to be addressed."
"It was important to be here to express the solidarity of New York, and also to say that we are fighting some of the same struggles in New York, and we will fight them together," he added.
De Blasio wouldn't say if he thought that President Obama — who was widely criticized for not attending a massive anti-terror march in Paris on Jan. 11 — should make a similar trip.
