The violent thug who savagely raped a woman moments after wishing her a Merry Christmas was arrested early Friday, police said.
The alleged rapist identified by police as Jose R. Roys,37, made small talk with a 51-year-old woman at a secluded Bronx bus stop early Christmas morning on Boston Road and Pelham Parkway around 6:20 a.m. before he allegedly bludgeoned and raped her, police sources told The Post.
He allegedly punched the woman in the face and dragged her into a secluded area, raping her before fleeing with her pocketbook.
The woman was taken to Jacobi Hospital for minor injuries.
Cops canvassed the area and spotted him nearby before they slapped him with cuffs.
He was charged with rape, criminal sex act, assault and robbery, cops said.
Police couldn't immediately say if he has a prior arrest history.
