YouTube stars Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart are breaking out of studio and taking the United States of America by storm in their new web series, HeyUSA. The series, which was produced by Astronauts Wanted and is featured on Conde Nast's The Scene, follows the two funny ladies as they road trip across the country — cracking jokes and sipping drinks along the way.
In the series' first episode, the two besties travel to Anchorage, Alaska. There they witness an avalanche, go whale-watching, hug some sled dog puppies, and overcome bummer sparklers. Of course, there's a fun social media twist to Grace and Mamrie's journey. Because the two are such big YouTube stars, they were able to turn to their fans on twitter for advice on where to eat, shop, and drink. They even get the chance to rendezvous with one of their fans to go shopping.
If you've somehow managed to miss out on all the mania surrounding Helbig and Hart, this series is a slick and fun primer on their particular brand of humor. You're going to be seeing more of both stars soon; E! has tapped Helbig as Chelsea Handler's late night replacement. Each episode is around 15 minutes long and there are eight episodes. So, you could burn through them all in two hours or savor them over a week and a half of office lunch breaks.
