Selena Gomez visits Children’s Hospital

Selena Gomez took time out of her schedule to visit with numerous sick kids at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Gomez, 22, shared just a few of snapshots of her visit on Instagram. She also posed for a picture with a girl she named "princess."

The hospital was thrilled to have Gomez in-house for the day.

"Selena took the time to stop and visit with each one, hear their stories, give hugs, share laughs and provide encouragement," the hospital told E! News in a statement. "It was a much-needed lift for these children and their families during an incredibly difficult time."

The statement continued, "We are so grateful for genuine kindness and compassion for our patients, families and the staff who care for them."
