Phil Jackson was part of the famous Derek Jeter cap-tipping commericial during the All-Star Weekend for MLB.

Jackson didn't catch Jeter's game-winning, walkoff single Thursday night in his Bronx farewell live but saw it multiple times on tape.

Jackson admitted he was too busy watching the Giants. He said he was asked to do that commercial because of his long association with NIKE.

"They wanted to include me,'' Jackson said. "It was a cool ad. I do not know him, have not had conversations with Derek. I respect his record, tenure with the Yankees. He's a great leader in the baseball world. And what a way to go out last night. It was replayed enough to get the feel for it. What a wonderful thing to do in front of a crowd who desperately wanted to see him succeed.''
