After racy images of Jennifer Lawrence were leaked in a nude photo scandal that rocked Hollywood, Josh Hutcherson has come to actress' defense.

"I just think all that stuff is so ridiculous. We're people too man, we just want to live, we want to be normal people, it's not fair," Hutcherson, 21, who co-starred with Lawrence, 24, in the "Hunger Games" franchise told ET Canada on Thursday.

The "Escobar: Paradise Lost" actor, who has been in the business since he was nine, says he hates how the world views these issues. "I think everyone has their own way of getting through it … It's really truly not fair," he said.

"We are actors, we didn't get into this because we wanted scandal," explained Hutcherson. "We want to live our lives and be actors."

Plans to display nude images of Lawrence and Kate Upton on life-size canvases were strapped by artist XVALA recently. In a statement to the post, XVALA had a change of heart, citing empathy for the targeted stars.
