The state Health Department is "reviewing" the clinic where Joan Rivers stopped breathing during a vocal cord procedure, TMZ reported.

Health officials have contacted Yorkville Endoscopy twice since last Thursday, sources told the publication.

While they are "reviewing the matter," an official investigation is not currently underway. The review of the clinic could take several weeks, according to TMZ.

On Wednesday, Rivers' daughter, Melissa, said her mother had been moved out of the ICU and into a private room at Mount Sinai hospital, "where she is being kept comfortable."
