Dancer and choreographer Cris Judd says a relationship with Jennifer Lopez is "very tough."
"Your privacy is breached," the 45-year-old, who was married to Lopez, 45, from 2001 to 2003, told Us Weekly, on Wednesday. "You're no longer a normal person. [Our wedding] was a circus. I think several people got arrested trying to climb up a mountain … trying to sneak in. We actually rented the airspace."
Judd says things get tough when one tries to keep their privacy in such a public relationship. "You kind of have to take it and accept it and embrace it," Judd advised. "Once you stop fighting it, it smoothes itself over. If you try to keep that privacy, it drives you nuts and that's why people break."
Despite their split, Judd still praises the "Booty" singer. "She looks fantastic, that goes without a doubt," said Judd. "Anybody that would say she doesn't look great is lying. But you know, I can't give you the answer as to why her relationships don't work."
After his brief marriage to Lopez, he went on to marry Kelly A. Wolfe in November 2009. The pair have an 11-month-old daughter, Vivienne.
Following their failed union, Lopez dated Ben Affleck, married Marc Anthony and dated Casper Smart, whom she broke up with this spring.
