Cops were called to blowhard actor Alec Baldwin's East Village building this week — but for once it wasn't because he'd gotten into a beef with the press or been busted for riding his bike the wrong way on a one-way street.
"In recent history, when the cops are called to 28 East 10th Street, you could likely guess it's about one particular person," Baldwin admitted to The New York Times Friday.
Instead, the NYPD was responding to a violent fight over noise Tuesday afternoon between two of the hotheaded thespian's neighbors — one of whom whacked the other over the head with a frying pan.
Cops busted Jaime McKeown, 56, and charged him with second-degree assault, saying he had beaten a female neighbor, who had to be taken to the hospital.
"He was lying in wait, crouched down. And then he cracks the woman with a frying pan. What is that?" Baldwin said.
