Lindsay Lohan may finally be ready to turn over a new leaf.
In an interview with the BBC, the troubled actress, 28, says she's done with her partying ways and she's ready to get back to work.
"I'm at a place in my life where I like the commitment," said Lohan ahead of her 10-week engagement in "Speed the Plow" in London. "I'm looking forward to that part of it."
When asked if she could be penalized for showing up late or skipping shows she simply said, "That's not going to happen. That's not on the cards. It's not."
And as for her old party lifestyle, Lohan says she no longer puts herself in those situations. "In LA, when people go out at night, that's all you do. It's different now. I've matured and there's nothing really left in that life for me."
Seemingly committed to changing her image, Lohan hopes this play will flip the public's perception of her. "I want to be known for my talents and my work that I create, rather than a tabloid sensation," she said. "However long it does take, I'm willing to do it. I'm will to work for it."
