After months of trash talk and Twitter taunts, the much-hyped drum-off between Will Ferrell and Red Hot Chili Pepper Chad Smith finally happened on Thursday night. And it was funky as hell.

The lookalikes appeared side-by-side and dressed exactly the same on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon" to settle a long-running dispute.

Smith has long been upset at Ferrell for "impersonating" him (the two look virtually identical) and so to settle the score, challenged the "Anchorman" actor to a charity drum-off.

Ferrell accepted and emerged victorious- with a little help from some of Smith's friends.
