Tara, the California cat that became famous for fighting off a dog this week, has "accepted" an invitation to throw out the first pitch at a minor league baseball game on Tuesday.
Tara will be joined by Jeremy Triantafilo, the 4-year-old boy she rescued from an attacking dog. The video went viral, and Tara is taking advantage of her 15 minutes of fame.
The Bakersfield Blaze, the Single-A affiliate of the Reds who play in the feline's hometown, sent out the invitation.
