Almost half of pet owners say they pamper their pooches and cats more than they do themselves and the people in their households, a survey reveals.

Of the 2,302 people interviewed for the poll conducted by vouchercloud.net and released last week, 42 percent reported spending on average about $22.20 more a month on "treats and luxuries" for their furry friends than they spend on the humans in their homes.
