Bobcats assistant Patrick Ewing wasn't thrilled about the magical night of Carmelo Anthony, who dumped a franchise and Garden record 62 points on his club in the Knicks' 125-96 win Friday.
"I'm upset right now because we just lost," Ewing told reporters. "I'm not talking. I have no comment on what happened.''
Nevertheless, Ewing did congratulate Carmelo Anthony as they walked out.
"You see people with nights like that and tonight was just his night," said Ewing, whose career high was 51. "Everything that he shot looked like it was going to go in. He had a great game. We tried to double him, get the ball out of his hands. He was hot."
When questions persisted about Anthony, Ewing got impatient, saying, "Man, I'm done.''
