Life is so unfair. While Mother Nature was slapping New York with a blast of early winter, supermodel Kate Upton was going barefoot and button-less in a red-hot ad shoot in Malibu.
New Yorkers won't show this much skin for months, with temps not expected to crack the 40s for the rest of 2013, according to long-range forecasts.
But right now, the big concern is a projected ill wind blowing on Thanksgiving — which could ground the biggest balloons in the Macy's parade.
Store officials said some 16 balloons would not fly if gusts exceed 34 mph. And there's a chance of a stray gust or two exceeding that, according to AccuWeather.
Meanwhile, Sunday was so cold that even sizzling star Jennifer Lawrence couldn't warm up the audience at a Brooklyn theater.
Fans who shelled out $12.50 to see "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" at the Pavilion Theatre in Park Slope said they'd have been warmer at an ice-skating rink.
"I kept my scarf on," said Andrea Scott. "I was coming to the movies . . . to be warm and cozy. It wasn't.''
A manager admitted the heating system was having technical difficulties.
Free coffee and tea was cold comfort to those who hoped for refunds.
