The mom of slain NYPD cop Russell Timoshenko was overcome with emotion outside a Queens courtroom after her son's killer was convicted of trying to murder another man.
"I never want to see him again ... I'm very glad he is guilty on all charges," said Tatyana Timoshenko after cop-killer Dexter Bostic was convicted of shooting and robbing Carl Fields on Sutphin Boulevard on July 8, 2007.
The shooting occurred the day before her 23-year-old son was fatally gunned down.
"This case shows what kind of person he was. He killed my son and tried to kill someone else's son. He's not a animal, he's a maggot, a maggot!" said Tatyana as her husband, Leonid, stood by her side.

Dexter Bostic is convicted on all counts.
Bostic is already serving life in prison without parole for Timoshenko's murder.
As the guilty verdict in the Fields' case was being read in court, Bostic glanced over at Tanya Timoshenko.
Queens Supreme Court Justice Gregory Lasak may slap him with an additional 25 years for robbing and shooting Fields.
As Bostic was later being handcuffed by court officers, he grinned and asked his lawyer, David Cohen, "Can the judge run the sentence concurrently?"
His sentencing is set for Sept. 11.
Bostic and his partner-in-crime, Robert Ellis, both 40, had stolen a silver Porsche Cayenne from a Long Island dealership and randomly robbed Fields as he was hanging out with his pals after a party.
Fields was shot once in his left leg, shattering his femur.
Bostic then approached Fields with the .45-caliber handgun and demanded money. Fields gave him $1,800 in cash, a chain and keys to his vehicle.
"He looked like the Grim Reaper," Fields said of Bostic during the trial.
The next day, the pair stole another car and while joyriding in Brooklyn, were pulled over by Officer Timoshenko and his partner, Herman Yan. Bostic opened fire, killing the 23-year-old Timoshenko.
Ellis, who was acquitted for his role in the murder of Timoshenko, was found guilty in the Fields case and sentenced to 25 years in prison, in addition to the 15 years he was already serving for a gun charge.
Bostic yesterday was found guilty of attempted murder, robbery, assault, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property, said Queens DA Richard Brown.
