Brothers riding personal watercraft crash into each other in NJ; one dead

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Police say two brothers riding personal watercraft crashed into each other on Barnegat Bay, leaving one dead.

The accident happened near the Mathis Bridge in Toms River Sunday night.

State Police Sgt. Adam Grossman tells The Star-Ledger of Newark one man was pronounced dead at a hospital while the other brother was treated for minor injuries.

Their names have not been released.
