A motorist was charged with vehicular manslaughter and DWI after fatally striking a 22-year-old pedestrian in Little Neck, police said.

The victim, Jordan Savvides of Jericho, was hit on the Long Island Expressway at 4:25 a.m. Saturday and pronounced dead at the scene, cops said.

Christian Ludlow, 69, of Great Neck, was heading east near Little Neck Parkway when he struck Savvides, according to police.

Ludlow was arrested at the scene, the cops added.

Staten Island

A teenager was busted after allegedly holding up a fellow passenger on a city bus in New Dorp.

Eric Moore, 17, approached the man at 3:50 p.m. Dec. 7 and snarled, "If you don't give me money or your hat and chain, I'm gonna kill you!" according to court papers.

Moore couldn't get the chain but did snatch the hat — only to watch his plucky victim grab it back as Moore got off the bus, the documents state.

Moore was charged with robbery, attempted robbery, petit larceny, attempted petit larceny, and criminal possession of stolen property.

A woman trying to cash a fake check was arrested after a bank teller realized that the number on it was out of sequence with those linked to the real customer's account, authorities said.

Princess Wright, 23, walked into the Northfield Bank branch on Hylan Boulevard in Concord at about 1 p.m. Tuesday with a check for $658.03, according to court records.

But the teller immediately noticed the discrepancy and checked the signature, which also didn't match, the documents state.

The bank contacted the account holder, who said he had never met Wright or issued a check to her, sources said.

Wright confessed when the cops showed up, the records say. She was charged with forgery, criminal possession of a forged instrument and attempted petit larceny.

The Bronx

A 44-year-old woman was found fatally stabbed outside a Wakefield apartment building yesterday, cops said.

Maxine Martinez's body was discovered at around 9:20 a.m. on Baychester Avenue — just a block from her home Nereid Avenue, cops said.

Brooklyn

Cops are looking for three men in connection with the shooting of a 25-year-old man in Kensington.

The victim was walking home at 2:50 a.m. Saturday when he was surrounded by five men at the corner of McDonald Avenue and Avenue F, police said.

The wolf pack jumped him, and one of the thugs later shot him in the groin, cops said. The victim, who was not identified, was taken to a local hospital.

His attackers fled west on Avenue F, the cops said.

Two suspects were caught, and the arresting officers found a revolver at the scene, police said.

The other assailants were still being sought last night, investigators said.

Each of the three is believed to be in his late 20s, and all three wore baseball caps in the mugging, the cops added.

One alleged attacker also wore a blue New York Giant jersey with the number 22, another had on a white Brooklyn Net jersey with the number 6, and the third was dressed in dark clothing, investigators said.

A teenager and at least one accomplice made off with a mink coat, diamond rings, antique coins and other goodies while committing two burglaries in East New York, cops said.

Joseph Adams, 17, and his unidentified partner first allegedly hit a Logan Street home at 7 a.m. Nov. 21 and took off with a laptop, a TV set and a safe box worth $1,700, according to law-enforcement sources.

Adams and an accomplice also broke into a home on Crescent Street near Blake Avenue at about 11 a.m. Nov. 29 and absconded with the other items, court papers say.

Adams was charged with burglary, grand larceny, petit larceny and trespass.

There had been no other arrests as of last night.

A man slashed another in the face in a Brownsville drug-rehabilitation center, authorities said.

Roberto Barretto, 56, asked the 52-year-old victim if he was from Howard Beach when they encountered each other Nov. 30 at the Dumont Avenue treatment facility, law-enforcement sources said.

The victim told him no.

It was not immediately known why Barretto responded by allegedly punching the man and then cutting him.

Staffers identified Barretto, and a warrant squad picked him up at his home, the sources said.

He was charged with assault, menacing and weapon possession.

Manhattan

Cops are looking for a Bonnie-and-Clyde burglary team that ripped off electronics and jewelry from an apartment in Greenwich Village.

They allegedly smashed a window and broke into the apartment on West 13th Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues at about 3 p.m. Dec. 4. The man and the woman filled up a red duffel bag with the stolen goods and made good their escape, police said.
