A teenager who suffered brain damage when the dirt bike he was riding collided with an NYPD cop car in October is suing the city for $100 million.
Leonel Cuevas, 17, was a passenger on a dirt bike driven by pal Ronald Herrera, 20, on Walton Avenue on Oct. 27 when police gave chase and hit the bike from behind in an attempt to apprehend the riders, said Cuevas' attorney.
The NYPD maintains the bike was trying to overtake the squad car when the two vehicles crashed.
Herrera died and Cuevas was left with major head injuries and is paralyzed and unable to speak.
