Long Island residents won't have to worry about "odd-even" gas rationing this weekend.
Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano and Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone say the restrictions will end at 11:59 p.m. Friday.
The program used odd-even license plate numbers for designated days to pump gas.
It was enacted on Nov. 9 to help ease gas lines that arose in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.
