Dawn death-by-subway in Harlem

An unidentified man leapt in front of a subway this morning at the City College station, authorities said.

The man was killed when he was hit by the downtown 1-train at West 137th Street and Broadway at 5:15 a.m., police said.

Trains were running express between West 145th Street and West 96th Street but resumed regular service around 7:35 a.m., said a spokesman for the MTA.
